Sports/Action- How Do The Pros Do It?

1.) Name of Photographer- Alyssa Schukar

General focus of portfolio (Photoj, stories, sports, etc.)

Problems that judges had with portfolio: There wasn't enough singles, they have seen better, there was the same distance in each photo

Two things the judges like: the wide angles and the emotion in the baseball photo

What is your overall impression? What did you like or not like? I didn't like the portfolio because i felt it was too sad and dark.

2). Winner (Dustin Snipes)
Strengths- Compositions, good angles, being with the players while there is actions, and creative
Strengths Personally- I think the photos had a lot of thought put into them and there was good composition and lighting. He did a good job at being able to capture the moment.

3). Choosing the Winner
The way the judges pick the winner is by going through each portfolio and look at the weaknesses and less of the strength. The judges kept doing this until people could decide on one portfolio.
