2009 Fall Photo Contest

 I really enjoy this picture because the crab is up close and you can see the crab's face. I would be too scared to get near the crab in fear that it might pinch me. The lighting is good because it's natural light on the beach.

 I thought this photo was sad but the fact that the whole family was smiling even though their life isn't the best. The photo is in black and white which makes the photo more sad.

 

 This photo made me feel bad for the guy. I think the photo shows how bad world hunger is. The dumpster is filthy and the guy is in the dumpster trying to find food. The dark colors made the mood of the photo be sad.

On this website I saw different types of portfolios of different photographers. All of the portfolios were very inspiring and were well thought out by the photographers.


I didn't learn anything new from this website.

I picked the photo because it's almost summer time.
I see balance in the photo.
The photographer is Jill Greenburg.

I saw a lot of black and white photos and saw how dramatic it made the photos look

I learned that back and white photos make the photos look more detailed.

I picked this photo becasue I can see the pain in the girl and how sad she is.

I see the rule of thirds.

This website gave tips on how to take good portraits and tips on indoor portraits and outdoor portraits. The website also gave tips on group shots.

I learned that when you take group shots you should have your flashes pointes up at a 30-45 degree angle to land the center row.

I could use these tips later in lass if I ever need to take a group shot or portraits.

This site never helped with that.
