1. Move your subject out of comfort zone
2. Introduce a prop
3. Experiment with subject expressions
Environmental Portraits:
I really liked these 2 photos because in both of the photos it captures the action that is happening as well as some of the background.
Photography Self Portraits:
I really liked this photo because it looks very different than another ordinary photo. The way the photographer made this photo come together looks amazing! I chose this photo because of the uniqueness.
I liked this photo because of the creativity of the subject. When I first glanced at the photo I didn't realize the girl was holding another picture to cover her face. I chose this photo because of the creativity captured.
Casual Portraits:
I liked this photo because of the emotion in this photo. You can tell the bond between the mother and son is strong. I chose this photo because its a cute picture to look at.
I liked this photo because of the emotion as well. The bride is over joyed and the photo captured her happiness. I chose this photo because of the happiness.
For my portrait assignment I will shoot my boyfriend or best friends for the portrait part of the project and for the self-portrait part I will obviously shoot myself. I will shoot either at my house or theirs either outside or inside, depending on how I want the photos to look. I will have my subject use props and capture some sort of emotion to make my photos stand out. My friends and I are really comfortable with each other so I shouldn't have a problem with this project.
